Ceramic Artist & Activist
handmade dolls to promote conversations about disability
Through her ceramic practice, Carly creates dolls filled with emotion that tell a story of what it is like to live with chronic pain. All dolls are handmade and individualized to portray different aspects of chronic illness. She is an advocate for accessibility for herself and others. With her dolls, she hopes to continue to help others and spread the importance of disability around the world.
Disability shouldn't just be tolerated. It should be celebrated.
Understanding disability and ableism is the work of every revolutionary, activist, and orgnaizer --of every human being.
